Getting Started Guide
Welcome! Once you receive your email address and password, follow the instructions below to access your Microsoft 365 applications.
If You Are Using a Windows PC or Mac
Your current Microsoft 365 license does not include installation of the desktop Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
- · Instead, you will use these applications through your web browser, similar to how Google Docs works.
- · We strongly recommend using Microsoft Edge for the best experience.
- · Open Microsoft Edge and go to: https://portal.office.com
- · Sign in using your company email address and password.
- · From the Microsoft 365 portal, you can access Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneDrive, and other Microsoft applications.
Microsoft Teams on Your Computer
Microsoft Teams can be installed on your computer at no additional cost.
- · Download Teams here: https://www.microsoft.com/microsoft-teams/download-app
- · Install the application and sign in with your company email address and password.
If You Are Using a Mobile Phone (iPhone or Android)
For the best mobile experience, download the Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Teams apps.
- · Outlook app: https://www.microsoft.com/microsoft-365/outlook/mobile-for-android-and-ios
- · Teams app: https://www.microsoft.com/microsoft-teams/mobile-app
- · Sign in to both apps using your company email address and password.
- · Use Outlook to send and receive email, manage your calendar, and access contacts.
- · Use Teams to chat with coworkers, join meetings, and make calls.
Important Notes
- · You can access and edit documents through your web browser on your computer.
- · The current license does not provide installation of desktop Word, Excel, PowerPoint, or Outlook applications.
- · If you have trouble signing in, please contact your IT support team.
