Email spoofing is the forgery of an email header so that it appears the message appears to have originated from someone other than the actual source.The goal of email spoofing is to get the recipient to open a email, or a link in the email, which would than give you a virus or other malware. It always best practice to distrust the content and verify who the sender is before opening any email.
