iPhone: Exchange Account Unable to verify account information.

Sometime when setting up an Office 365 email account on an iPhone, you will receive the following error:


"Exchange Account: Unable to verify account information"



You will have to manually enter your account's server information.

  1. On the error, tap OK.
  2. Tap Save.
  3. Tap Save.
  4. Tap Save.
  5. In the Exchange area, next to Account, tap your email address.
  6. Complete the following fields, and then click Done:


Box Enter
Email Enter your email address
Server Type outlook.office365.com
Domain Leave this field blank
Username Enter your email address
Password Enter your password
