How to install Picasa 3.9 on Linux Mint

Now install Wine and Winetricks
sudo apt-get install wine winetricks

Now download Picasa 3.9 from Google.

cd ~/ && wget http://dl.google.com/picasa/picasa39-setup.exe

Now install Picasa 3.9

wine ~/picasa39-setup.exe

Note: Wine will ask permission to install 2 apps. Please do those first before beginning to install Picasa.

Install IE8 to allow oath signon

WINEARCH=win32 winetricks -q ie8
