To map a network location in Windows

To map a network location in Windows:

  • Open Windows Explorer, right click on Computer.
  • Select Map Network Drive.
  • For drive, assign drive letter and enter the server information similar to the following: \\IPaddressOrHostname\foldername
  • Click Finish and the drive will be connected.
