How to setup an Email account on an Android phone/tablet

First time set-up

1.In the Gmail app, touch Add an email address.

2.If you’re adding:

•A Gmail or Google for Work address, touch Google.

•A non-Gmail address (like Yahoo or Hotmail), touch Personal (POP, IMAP).

•A business email address that uses Exchange, touch Corporate (available for Nexus devices running Android 5.0 or higher).

3.Follow the steps on the screen to add your account.


Add more accounts later

1.Open the Gmail app.

2.On the top left, touch Menu Menu.

3.At the top, go to the right of your username and touch the down arrow.

4.Touch Add account.

5.If you’re adding:

•A Gmail or Google for Work address, touch Google.

•A non-Gmail address (like Yahoo or Hotmail), touch Personal (POP, IMAP).

•A business email address that uses Exchange, touch Corporate (available for Nexus devices running Android 5.0 or higher).

6.Follow the steps on the screen to add your account.
